Look of the Day: Liz Lisa and Red Lips

It's 90 degrees today, so I thought a nice cool Liz Lisa dress would be a good idea!  Necklace is Angelic Pretty.  The lips were inspired from this Youtube video by Taylor R.  I would have worn more makeup, but it was soooo hot, I'm surprised the lips lasted this long!  Pictures taken by Takeru ❤ It was super windy and hot, and we had to dodge cicadas DX

Look of the Day: 2

I got pictures of the makeup, not really the whole outfit, but this was for dinner with friends!  I feel like my makeup was just really on point that night.

Halloween! Costumes Around WVU Campus and Swing Dance!

I've been starting to take pictures of fashion around campus, but since yesterday was Halloween, I decided to take pictures of costumes that people wore to class! I think the fashion posts will be a monthly thing, until I start getting a lot of pictures though =]

 One of the first people I saw that morning...definitely a good start to the day!

Of course there were quite a few good costumes in the Creative Arts Centre for the short time I spent there that day.  I'm sure if I wanted to hang out there for awhile I would have gotten MANY more.

One friend dressed as the Joker, and the other as what the Joker is when he isn't dressed up XD

 It was nice to see people even dressing up for class, from just parts of their costume to full blown complete transformations!

Since I've been low on time and money, I used my favorite steampunk model Kato as my inspiration, and threw this together from my closet!

I also helped out some of my friends with their makeup

Makeup and helping with Stamen for the Campus Film Festival!

I figured this would be a good time to post since it's nearing Halloween =] Actually, around now, I'll be helping other friends with makeup, and I'm taking an advanced theatre makeup class, so there will be a few more theatre-makeup related posts coming up! 

My friend Josh entered the Campus Film Festival, and asked me to be one of his makeup artists for his short film called Stamen!  Here's a few behind the scenes pictures from shooting, and pictures of the makeups I did.  The first day of shooting, I was a bit rusty, since I hadn't really done any kind of theatrical makeup since more than a year before, so don't judge too hard >_<, but the second day's turned out a lot better! I even had to step in as an actor! Luckily I didn't have to do any talking or anything XD

 First up, pix of the super creepy location! An abandoned elementary school...

I had an amazing time helping out with Stamen! We had such a great, talented, dedicated, fun group of people.

We had a few technical difficulties when entering, so it wasn't actually entered in to win the big prize, though it did appear on the website, so we still do have a chance to win something if you would take a second to watch and vote for us please!! =] He worked very hard on this, and put it before everything, even food and sleep, so please help us out!
