Shopping trip in Sakae and Osu!

Me and Emily went on a shopping trip in Sakae, and we went to this amazing, huge secondhand shop called Book Off! Thrift shopping in Japan has to be the best place/way to shop ever!

Look at all the skirts!! <3
We also went to the Nagoya Pokemon Center, on a release day!

Wearing my Innocent World dress, AKA my first lolita brand purchase ever =]

Of course I had to get myself a little something for the memories!

...aaand it's only for sale in Japan! =D
And here are some of the stores we shopped/window shopped at

We met a cute, friendly lolita on the way. Ignore the derp-face, I didn't know I was supposed to be in this picture. But, gahh this girl is so cute! XD

OMG at the new Disney dresses on display. I wanna cry at the prices

Then, we found this really cute little burger place called Freshness Burger on the way to Osu!

We both wore lolita =]

They were actually really good!
And I got my costume! Here's a little sneak peek ;] I got it at Bodyline.

Makeup: Halloween and Fall inspired

What I used:

My growing Liz Lisa wardrobe (and obsession)

Ok, I think Liz Lisa so far is my favorite Japanese store/brand ever. It adds just enough bows, lace, pink brown and peach, and delicacy to everyday style! What I saw of Liz Lisa online did not do it any justice to how cute this brand's clothes really are! This is the Liz Lisa at Maruei in Sakae.

Aaaand this is my collection so far =] The first 2 things were bought at the Liz Lisa in Harajuku, the next 1 was bought at Kinji secondhand shop in Harajuku, and the rest were bought at an awesome secondhand store in Sakae.

These next few pix are from the Liz Lisa in Harajuku, early in the morning before it opened. Didn't get any after it opened cuz it was waaaay busy and most stores don't like it when you take pictures...

Btw, it smells soooo amazing in all the Liz Lisa stores, like spicy roses! <3

Oh, here's a picture of the bag!

Makeup: Random Gyaru inspiration!

Sooo I watched an episode on Kawaii.i about the new Gyaru and had an extremely undeniable urge to Gyaru-fy my face...so I did! BTW, these are my Fairy Princess blue contacts.

I also did my nails recently...
I've been in a very artsy mood lately, and I'm surrounded by all kinds of colorful, amazing inspirations here in Japan. Plus, I'm excited for fall and Halloween (even though it doesn't and hasn't felt like fall at all here yet...). I think I always get in an artistic, want to dress up kind of mood near Halloween though. This will be the first year in a few that I'm not making my own costume, I'm buying one. I can't really pass up the cheapest price I've ever seen, plus not having to pay shipping to get a Hatsune Miku costume from Bodyline! Plus, I'm so busy, I don't think I'd have time to make a costume anyway.

Update on my life

Gahhhh, I'm so horrible at keeping up with this!! I feel like if my blog was more popular, this would be way easier...anyway, things have settled down for me, and I've been kind of low on money, so not a whole lot of new pictures or explorations or things. I did go to karaoke last weekend, and it was AMAZING!! I was surprised that we didn't get carded for drinks though...I was so excited because I'm 20 which is Japan's drinking age, (America's is 21) to show my id and be like "Yeah. I'm old enough and I can prove it!", buuut I guess I'll have to wait for that moment to happen in a year when I'm 21 and back in America...

Also last week, I did go window shopping with my new Japanese friend Mizuki (she's super cute and has pink in her hair like me, which is why we became friends right away XD) in Sakae and Osu, and we went to Maruei and another store called Nova (I think)...anyway, Nova had a whole floor dedicated to lolita and alternative fashion so I was of course in heaven and sad at the same time because I was too poor. At least I know where to go when I do have money though! I also found Dakota Rose on the advertisement for the purikura that we went and did =] We went to Milk and I got their little look book with Dakota in it <3 I was so excited when I recognized it was her.

Oh, I also got to go to a high school festival last week! It was so cool, all the high school girls were calling me kawaii, and asking to take pictures of me like I was a celebrity! XD My school has a festival coming up in a few weeks, and I'll be modeling in the fashion club's fashion show! =D I was a bit scared about joining the club because my Japanese is still really bad, but it actually went well. I managed to speak and understand a bit, and my years of being in beauty pageants actually helped me with learning the walk easily.

These next pictures are from my calligraphy class. The first one was done by me, but the other was definitely not!

That's my last name by the way =]
