Harajuku

It was all I dreamed it would be and more <3

All of my favorite fashions and stores in the world were all grouped together almost all on one street. It was amazing to see all these crazy fashions that I have been drooling over online in person! And Japanese lolitas <3 Oh my, they look so much like living dolls!~ I can't wait to grow my lolita clothing collection during my time here. <3

I was there super early before the shops were open too, so I got some pictures of their closed doors...

These ones were taken in LaForet Harajuku (even though I wasn't allowed to take pictures...shhh!) By the way, the basement of LaForet is LOLITA HEAVEN <3

Most of the stores won't let you take pictures inside at all, so it's not easy to get some of these, and I wish I had some more of the awesomeness inside! Can't wait to return to Harajuku <3

Trying not to post all at once...

Hello again =]

I have so many things to post from just being in Japan for 2 weeks, but I don't want to do it all at once! I'm not very good with words, so most of my posts will be very photo-heavy (I also bought a new Nikon camera specifically for taking pictures in Japan...) with occasional only text posts to describe the things that pictures can't capture. I spent my whole first week in Japan in Tokyo and I visited Harajuku, Akihabara, and Shibuya, stayed in an internet cafe for a night and in a capsule hotel for a few days. I'm going to try to do posts dedicated to each specific thing if I can!

I guess I'll start with B-Side Label!

B-Side Label is a sticker store in Harajuku that I ran into during my crazy excited explorations.
Here's what I got:
Aaaand here's the website and facebook page!

I used some of them to decorate my notebooks =]
There's the outside of it (closed because it was like 6am).

Greetings from Japan!

Konnichi wa!

I'm going to try this blog thing again.  I'm Gretchen and I'm a WVU theatre costuming student studying abroad in Japan for a year!  I just got here a little more than a week ago, and spent the first week in Tokyo.  I'm going to use this blog to share my experiences/review beauty products and clothes and whatever else!

This is mah face!! I like makeup, fashion (especially Japanese), nail art, Anime, cosplay, colorful hair, circle lenses, and glitter, so expect posts related to these kinda things! :]
