Review: Wherelight Glasses

It seems that ordering cheaper prescription glasses online is becoming a big thing, which is super awesome! Way better than the usual one pair a year (or until they are so broken, they are impossible to be worn anymore) that costs hundreds of dollars. It's awesome to have different pairs of glasses for different outfits too.

I've gotten and reviewed glasses from another similar website, Zenni, but everyone knows about Zenni now. I decided to try Wherelight because they are even cheaper than Zenni. I was a bit skeptical because when I looked up reviews, I couldn't really find anything except for one, hard to find, bad review so I gave it a shot and ordered 3 pairs of glasses.

Here they are! All the prescriptions were perfect and they fit well and comfortably.  I love Zenni, but it's nice to know there's another cheap option for cute glasses.  They all came with cases, lens wiping cloths, and one mini screwdriver key chain

I have been wanting to try a pair of round glasses for a while now!  I'm not sure if they suit me very well though...they're also my first pair of wire glasses, and I kind of already broke them slightly by bending them too far X( They open too wide on one side now, but it's not noticeable, just annoying for me.  I also wish they were a tiny bit bigger (meaning the circle part).  They're still really cute though!

Then some simple cat-eye glasses

And then these ones! They looked more orange at the bottom online than in person, but I guess that was because they were up against a white background there

Overall, I would definitely order from them again!

Lens Review: Dolly Eye Segoi-Pearl Prime Brown

These are the Dolly Eye Segoi Pearl Prime Brown Contacts!  I discovered contacts like these a few years ago, (called Showmix, or maybe that was the brand's name) but the website I found them on didn't have them in prescription, and then I could never find them again.  I also couldn't find many reviews of them.  After years of searching online and even in contact stores in Japan, I finally found these ones just like the ones I found from before, but from a different brand.  They are glittery!  Like actually glitter! I'm so happy I was able to find these again, since I have been looking for so long.

They are less comfortable than other contacts.  Sometimes my eyes feel really dry or they're only comfortable for a few hours before I need to take them out.

The only problem with them is that one is noticeably sparklier than the other one, and it bothers me a bit. I thought that one of them was maybe inside out, but it definitely wasn't after I looked at it up close.  I still really love these though, and want to try another color!

I got them from Uniqso and here's the link

And here's a not so great cell phone video to see them in action!  Maybe I'll figure out how to take a better video with my good camera, and do a second review of these.  And take pictures of them with makeup on too!

*Edit* I took a better video of them in sunlight with my phone!

Review: Zenni Optical Glasses

Zenni Optical has all kinds of glasses for super cheap prices, and if you know your prescription information, you can get prescription glasses too!  The prices range between $10 and $50 with most being around $20-$30.  I seriously just want to get a bunch of different ones to wear with every outfit!  But for now I'll stick with these two

First are these pink ones (Browline Eyeglasses 4414419)
which are kind of my everyday ones, currently.  They actually pinch my nose slightly, but it's not distractingly noticeable.  They are also I think slightly big for my face.  Not that they don't stay on or fit well, just that my face is small I guess? ^_^ They just look like they are a bit too big. But, I think they're cute and I've gotten many compliments on them.

These ones are obviously not good for everyday. (Prescription Heart-Shaped Glasses 4420218) They do work with a lot of my wardrobe though. Plus, Valentine's Day is coming up and I can definitely wear them then! I just HAD to own a pair of heart shaped glasses that can actually help me see.  They don't pinch my nose like the other ones do.

And the prescription on them is perfect, even though they are so cheap! I can see and they are good quality.

Lens Review: Geo Angel Green

I've had these for a while and I got them from Yesstyle.com. Also, I'm wearing Dolly Wink's Dolly Sweet eyelashes. Sorry makeup's kinda messy...I've been wearing it all day!

These ones only enlarge lightly and they were my second pair of circle lenses ever! I kind of wish I had gone with the bigger size, but wasn't sure if they would look good at first! They are very comfortable and look almost natural. Most people don't even notice that I'm wearing them. They are my second most natural looking pair.

Lens Review: Fairy Princess Blue

I got these at a cosmetics store in Harajuku (sorry, can't remember the name...)

They're really bright and comfy (so far, all circle lenses I've worn are way more comfortable than clear ones) and they work well on dark eyes. I've noticed that contacts that are lighter towards the middle tend to have a weird derpy effect on darker eyes, and these ones don't. They enlarge slightly which I also like.

I really like these a lot! I want them in other colors.
