Shibuya Miyashita Park Photo Adventure with Mo

Mo and I had made plans to do something together on this day (not expensive because I have been seriously low on money since Izu) so we decided photo shooting each other and the new Miyashita Park in Shibuya was the way to go!

We wandered around some of the old side streets and alleys of Shibuya

(Taken by Mo) some are film and some are digital

And even found some new ones! This reminds me a lot of Koenji’s outdoor izakaya seating vibe

Then we ended the Shibuya part of our adventure near a nice bridge

It was perfect timing that we decided to head to Mo’s place to drink wine and chat about life, because a sudden windy downpour began as we walked to the station! There were on and off downpours the past few days because of a typhoon.

We drank and caught up and talked about any and everything <3

Blog: Japan Day 4 Part 2: Mini Live Show

Took a little break from my Japan posts because of my recent photo shoot, but now I'll get back to them!  This was the second part of this day, day 4.

We started by getting ramen here in Shibuya at a place called 麺屋武蔵 (menyamusashi)!  It's a type of ramen that you dip the moodles into the broth, which is thick and gravy-like, then you add hot soup to the broth so you can drink what's left after you finish the noodles.  I poured the hot soup into my water cup by accident thinking it was to refill the water...I must not have been the first ever to do that though, as the worker guy noticed immediately and got me a new water glass right away, no questions asked or judging looks XD

After that, we ran and took the train to Asakusa to see Takeru's friend and band mate's show!  We were too late and missed her playing though X( We did catch this guy's awesome performance and I got his cd!

After that (and a few drinks) we went and got some more drinks from a nearby conbini, then had our own mini live show near a river with a view of the Tokyo Skytree

This night was so much fun!  There was such a good atmosphere between us all, and the music she played was soooo good!  I wish I had a chance to get to know her better.  She doesn't speak English at all, so I need to get better at Japanese, so I can practice speaking with her.  I think we got along really well, but we had such a short amount of time, and a language barrier. X(  Buuut distance won't matter anymore when I live in Japan, and language won't be a problem because I will get better at Japanese!

That's all from this day <3

Blog: Japan Day 4 Part 1: Shibuya 109 Shopping

This day was full of shopping, friendship, and music! It started out with meeting some of Takeru's friends for Chinese food near the station.

Then we went to Shibuya. When we were waiting to meet Aya, there was this super fashionable guy also waiting nearby.  I wanted to take his picture, and Takeru said that he actually thought that he looks like a guy he knows!  So I went to the bathroom and came back, and then they were talking! XD Turned out he actually did know him.  So I was able to ask for his picture ;)

Then we met Aya went to Shibuya 109!

In Onespo!

Aya got me my first ever Swankiss purchase!! The girls who work there are so cute, and I follow all of them on Instagram.  I'd been to the store before, last time I was in Japan, but didn't buy anything, so I was soooo excited!

After that, we went to Liz Lisa, and I got a dress (all the clothes I got will have their own post)
And I saw this super cute girl dressed head to toe in Liz Lisa! Takeru asked for me to take her picture because I'm too shy, and Japanese is easier for him (of course)

I'll do part 2 from this day next!
