Too Faced Review and Comparison: Melted Liquid Matte Lipstick in Pumpkin Spice and PSL Pumpkin Spice Latte

Hey guys! So, if you didn't know, Too Faced is my favorite makeup brand, has been for a while, so I was super happy when it finally came to Japan!

Today I wanna compare 2 of their liquid lipsticks that have similar colors and scents. I love pumpkin, and they have 2 pumpkin scented/flavored lipsticks. The pumpkin spice is from last year I think, and the pumpkin spice latte (PSL) one is this year.

So first of all, let's talk about the scent. The pumpkin spice one smells like pumpkin pie and slightly more gingery. The new PSL one smells like cinnamon and coffee. My first take was like apple cinnamon scented candles though.

They both have a slightly sweet taste and in the ingredients list is stevia sweetener, which is a thing Too Faced always does that I love! I think the older one is slightly sweeter tasting.

So, now for the colors and swatches! The new PSL is a slightly darker and redder color, so I like it better for that. The old pumpkin spice is oranger and lighter, especially in the tube it's noticeably lighter.

Review: Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips in Shimmery Bronze Nude

I had never tried Physician's Formula before, though I'm always admiring their cute packaging in CVS.  I finally couldn't resist with this super sparkly palette! Their stuff is a bit pricier than other drugstore brands, and I haven't seen many reviews of their products, but this mini palette has eye shadows that shimmer like the expensive ones I've seen in Sephora!

And here are some swatches in sunlight and indoors with flash

This has been my go-to palette since I got it!

Review: Lush in Ross Park Mall

So I think this is the nearest Lush to me unless there's another one in Pittsburgh, but this is the one we ended up at during our Pittsburgh adventures! The only other time I went to the Ross Park Mall was my freshman year when I was briefly a fashion major, we took a trip here. This was actually the first Lush store I ever saw, but I knew nothing about it at that time.

♡❤♡❤♡

The main reason I wanted to go to Lush was because of the Rosy Cheeks mask I've been wanting to try! I LOVE rose anything, and the other Lush masks I've tried before were awesome. But, the masks can only be bought in store because they need to be kept refrigerated

Then of course I wanted more stuff from Lush because I can't get only one thing...so bath bomb! Takeru said he wanted to see a really sparkly one, since I'd been going for the really colorful ones, or ones I'd already tried and wanted to show him. My first thought was Dragon's Egg, since I used that one before and it was an explosion of gold sparkles, and a citrusy scent I thought he might like, but they were out. So I asked the (awesome) lady (with pink hair, lavender lips, who recognized that my phone case was from Liz Lisa and asked about where I got it XD) what she recommended as far as glittery bath bombs go. First she said Twilight, which I still have waiting for me at home in my bathroom, and then Frozen which I'm reading about online now, and it also has rose oil in it! It doesn't right away smell very rosy, but maybe it will in the water. It does smell a little bit floral though

Then he also got me the Milky Bath bubble bar! It smells sort of like citrusy laundry detergent, but I mean that in the best way possible. Like really refreshing and clean smelling. The tip of it has silver glitter. Unfortunatly, it got a little banged up on the journey back

I might start to try to do separate posts with pictures of Lush products in use, if I can remember at the time I use them XD

Review: Too Faced Lipstick in Unicorn Tears

I don't actually own this (yet) but my lovely friend let me play with hers XD

♡❤♡❤♡

It looks light blue in the container, but it turns to a sheer glittery lilac on the lips! Or maybe it turns pink and the glitter is blue, so far away it blends to lilac

Review: My Lush Stuff Finally Came!

My amazing boyfriend got me a few things from Lush for my birthday because I have been dying to have a nice Lush bath for so long! I just opened everything, took pictures, and now it's just sitting in a basket next to me because it smells so good and is like an air freshener XD

♡❤♡❤♡

I had heard many good things about Lush and seen pictures online of all of the pretty things you could get there, but I first got hooked on Lush products while I was studying abroad in Japan. There were a few Lush stores around Nagoya; one of them in the Sakae train station where I spent a lot of time lost/shopping. I remember that I could always remember where it was by following my nose. Seriously, that train station was a HUGE underground maze with a shopping mall thrown in and you could smell Lush from pretty far away. Japan is super into bath culture so the bathtubs there are usually really big and deep. I've always loved baths/showers that turn into baths, over just showers, so I was in heaven there with my giant bathtub and Lush so easily accessible XD Unfortunately, coming back to WV, the nearest Lush is in PA. I can always order online of course, but the face masks you can only get in-store because they need to stay refrigerated. I wanna try the Rosy Cheeks one so bad! Plus, it's always more fun to actually shop in the store rather than online.

Their packing peanuts dissolve in water!

Anyway, I ordered the Sex Bomb, Twilight, and Blackberry bath bombs, the Rose Jam Bubbleroon, and it came with a small sample of Yellow Fun.

Here are the bath bombs

Rose Jam Bubbleroon
I absolutely love everything rose scented

It got a little melty...

Yellow Fun sample
It has the smell of Play-doh mixed with vanilla, and the same texture as Play-doh. This isn't something I ever particularly planned to try from Lush, so it's interesting to get it as a sample.

I made it into a heart
♡❤♡❤♡

Everything of course smells amazing and I can't wait to try it! If I can, later I'll post pictures of what they look like when I use them

Review: I Love Nail Polish ILNP in Champagne Blush

I have been wanting to try this brand for the longest time, and Ashley got me this for my birthday! It's my first ever holographic nail polish.

♡❤♡❤♡

Here it is on my nails, in the sun and with flash

The pictures of this stuff are so pretty! Serious glitter-porn. I love how it also has a pale champagne-gold kind of metallic shine (you can see it in the second to last picture) along with the holographic glitter! It's also smooth, so no sandy glitter feeling

Review: Etude House Berry Delicious Color in Liquid Lips Juicy #35 RD306

This is my favorite Etude House lip product yet!  It's the only product that I've been able to successfully and easily pull off the gradient look on my lips.  Other lip products require my lips to be perfectly exfoliated, moisturized, AND even plumped a bit (because my lips are horrible DX) and I usually have to use more than one product to get the effect.   It smells and tastes like strawberries and has a jam-like texture, but isn't sticky.  Plus, it's my first berry color, and I've discovered that it suits me super well!  It also stays on really well.  It's kind of like a mixture of a lip tint and liquid lipstick.  And the packaging is super adorable, as usual for Etude House

Here are a few pictures of it all over my lips, with flash and in daylight

Seriously, I love this stuff so much!! Sometimes I just want to wear it because I love the taste/smell.  I really want to try the green one!  It's green in the tube and then turns lavender on you lips!
