First Time Big Event Leader Feelings

Ohhh wow, today was hectic! I’ve been getting increasingly more important (and exciting) responsibilities from my job, and today was one of them. I emceed one of our biggest events and had to lead the thing! It was EXHAUSTING to say the least, and, at times fun. I made many little mistakes, but learned a lot! 

I’d never thought I would ever have a job that I would easily and happily be able to dedicate myself to, especially so much, that I’d receive these kind of responsibilities, but I’m so happy I have! I don’t work just for money, I need happiness and passion. If another “normal” job offered me double or even triple what I currently make, I would without hesitation turn it down.

I have always had EXTREME stage fright. Yet, I’ve always been on or back (or even above when I learned lighting) stage for most of my life in one way or another. I did dance shows since I could walk. I always joined whatever choirs was offered at any school I went to. I did every theatre and drama thing I could in high school. I studied theatre costuming (and a little of everything else) in college. And now I work in theatre! It’s like I’m destined for the stage 😆 

Blog: Huntington Visit

Last weekend, I went to Huntington WV to visit one of my best friends from high school who I haven't seen in years.  I don't think I've seen her since I came back from Japan the first time, so 3 or 4 years!?  Anyway, it was so much fun.  We've both grown and changed a lot over the years, into better versions of ourselves, I think.  She's one of those friends that no matter how long we spend apart and how many things change in our lives, when we get back together it's like no time has passed and we can easily talk to each other about anything <3

Of course, (like in high school, but now with a better camera) I always shove my camera in the faces of my pretty friends.  Here are the results!  Next time, we will try and do a full, planned shoot.  I was too busy talking, catching up, and meeting new people so I only got a few this time

Blog: Shopping, Makeup, Pictures, and Fun Times with Friends!

Hello!

I didn't get enough pictures to make these all a separate post, so I figured I'd just put them together.

This was actually from our Cooper's Rock trip

I'll start with shopping trips! I went to Retrotique with Arianna, tried on a few dresses, and bought one. I really wanna go back and get another!

And then yesterday, I went to Goodwill with Cleo and Ling and got an amazing dress and jacket

Then I went to Rachel's house and we all played with makeup, and I took some pictures! I'm not very good at shooting in low light though DX I prefer natural lighting, so I'll be taking so many pictures when it finally gets warm outside!

Blog: Warm Day at Cooper's Rock

I spent today's almost 70 degree weather outside surrounded by all beautiful people; my boyfriend, two best friends, and a few others.  Today was just too nice of a day not to share!  We all wanted to go outside and enjoy the day, but didn't really have any plans.  So, we just ended up together on campus, bumped into friends, then decided to go to Cooper's Rock, and everyone who has one brought their cameras XD

This was one of the most fun photo shoots I've ever done, with amazing new friends! I feel like since I've met these girls, I can be completely me and talk about anything and I've just met them all not too long ago! I feel like I've been more artistic lately, and motivated to do what I love ♡  I'm so thankful to have been able to meet them and look forward to when we can all collaborate again!  It's also so nice to be around other girly girls! XD I haven't felt this good in a while.  So I guess I've already completed a New Years resolution? =D This soon?!

Diary: Current Blog Plans and New Year Resolutions!

Hello everyone!

There hasn't been too much to blog about lately, but I'd like to try get back into it! I will go to Japan after I graduate college to live and study there, so I will have plenty to blog about then, and maybe even a short trip this spring.  But for now I'll try to do some reviews of makeup and contacts and whatever, my photography, and photo shoots to get back into it!

I guess I can add blogging more to my New Years resolutions list...along with:

1. Wear makeup more often and experiment/get better at it

 2. Study Japanese more, and be a better student in general

3. Get more organized

4. Do more photography and modeling

 5. Draw and design more

6. Blog!

*7. Friends!

Basically, be more motivated to do everything I like and want to do, and bettering myself in every way I can. I've been getting worse and worse with being motivated, especially for school and things I don't super like doing, and even for things that I do enjoy doing.

 *Edit: I decided I needed to come back to this post and add this. I hope this semester keeps going well, and I can manage to get a job, not fall behind with school work and want to give up on it, and become closer to my new friends and continue with my old ones!  I should add making/hanging out with friends to my New Years resolutions...over the past year, I've lost and grown apart from, and made and sort of lost again, the few rare people I could call best friends. I'm very picky about who I call a 'best friend.'  I can't even exactly explain what it is, I have so many good friends and acquaintances and good people in my life, but there needs to be a little something else there.  I think I may have met some new people who have potential to be really good friends, maybe even a best friend. I don't know.  I don't realize how much I missed having this until I feel something close to it again.  A best friend can feel almost like falling in love or going through a break up!  Is that weird? Is it just me?
