Blog: Photo Shoot with Yenra: Happy Monday in Morgantown!

These outfits were supplied by Arianna from one of her favorite online stores, Happy Monday!  I don't (yet) own any of their clothes, but I had seen them before and wanted to try that style out.  I wasn't sure if it would suit me or not, so I was excited to try what Arianna had, and I totally love it on me!

Blog: Photo Shoot with Yenra: Sailor Girls and May Forest Fairies

Here are my favorites from the final results from Ken!  Every shoot we do keeps getting better!  And of course mine and Arianna's styles and personalities always match up super well <3

My dress is from Tralala (by Liz Lisa)

Almost trespassing...

And this dress is my favorite brand Liz Lisa!

Blog: Photo Shoot with Yenra: Behind the Scenes

I just moved and have been busy unpacking and setting things up, so I've been waiting to post about this! I don't know where to even begin! Ken came up to meet Arianna and me for a day of photo shooting in WV.  We started out by getting some snacks, then trying to find a shooting spot near Cheat Lake.  We got a little lost at first, so Ken used his trick that hasn't failed him yet- finding a big green spot on Google Maps!  So we went there, and it was right near the border of WV and Pennsylvania.  A lady came up to us and warned us that the area was a private area (not according to Google but there were a few private residences.)  Though, after she talked to us a little bit, she said it was ok for us to stay there.  I'm sure she has to shoo away people getting rowdy and trying to drink and be crazy near the lake, but she realized that's not what we were after.  We found a really pretty forest area near there, and even a mini waterfall!  I got lots of nice nature pictures, and Ken even let me try out some of his lenses on my camera!  After that, we went back to Morgantown and shot around the city a little bit.  We were together for around 10 hours and still had ideas and outfit changes left.  If we all weren't so tired we could have easily kept going!

I guess I'll start out with a couple of teasers from Ken's behind the scenes shots! Then, I'll post the best final ones.  After that I'll make a post with my behind the scenes shots, and then the photos I took!

And here's Ken's website to see all of his awesome photography!

And that's all you get for today!

Blog: First Shoot with Yenra!

The first ever shoot I did with Ken was right before I went to Japan!  I found his pictures on Facebook through a Japanese fashion model I'd been following for years, and when I liked his pictures, he contacted me!  He usually goes to many different conventions to take pictures of cosplay, costumes, and fashion.

Here's links to his website and Facebook

This was the first shoot we had together in August 2013.  Since it was right before I started my blog I didn't make a post for it then, so I will now!  We've shot together once since then (post about that here), and we will be shooting again along with Arianna this Saturday!  I am super excited for that, and you guys definitely should be too!

These are just a few of my favorites!  We got so many more pictures that day though

Blog: Japan Day 4 Part 1: Shibuya 109 Shopping

This day was full of shopping, friendship, and music! It started out with meeting some of Takeru's friends for Chinese food near the station.

Then we went to Shibuya. When we were waiting to meet Aya, there was this super fashionable guy also waiting nearby.  I wanted to take his picture, and Takeru said that he actually thought that he looks like a guy he knows!  So I went to the bathroom and came back, and then they were talking! XD Turned out he actually did know him.  So I was able to ask for his picture ;)

Then we met Aya went to Shibuya 109!

In Onespo!

Aya got me my first ever Swankiss purchase!! The girls who work there are so cute, and I follow all of them on Instagram.  I'd been to the store before, last time I was in Japan, but didn't buy anything, so I was soooo excited!

After that, we went to Liz Lisa, and I got a dress (all the clothes I got will have their own post)
And I saw this super cute girl dressed head to toe in Liz Lisa! Takeru asked for me to take her picture because I'm too shy, and Japanese is easier for him (of course)

I'll do part 2 from this day next!
